PROSES PENULISAN PRESS RELEASE OLEH BAGIAN HUMAS INSTITUT PEMERINTAHAN DALAM NEGERI (IPDN) JATINANGOR SUMEDANG.
ABSTRAK
Tiara Tasya. 210103110209 berjudul “Kegiatan Pembuatan Press Release Oleh
Bagian Humas Institut Pemerintahan Dalam Negeri (IPDN) Jatinangor
Sumedang”, Dibawah bimbingan Bapak Aat Ruchiat Nugraha, S.Sos., M.Si.,
Program Diploma III Pendidikan Ahli Komunikasi Terapan, Sub Program
Program Studi Kehumasan Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Padjadjaran.
Penulisan laporan tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prose pembuatan
press release oleh bagian bagian humas Institut Pemerintahan Dalam Negeri
(IPDN) Jatinangor Sumedang, yang meliputi proses perencanaan terdiri dari latar
belakang pembuatan press release, persiapan pembuatan press release, pelaksanan
pembuatan press release serta proses evaluasi press release yang telah dibuat oleh
bagian humas IPDN Jatinangor Sumedang.
Metode pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif, yaitu unutk memperoleh
gambaran mengenai kegiatan tersebut dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan
data berupa observasi, wawancara dan studi kepustakaan.
Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa dari aspek perencanaan pembuatan press
release dilihat dari latar belakangnya adalah sebagai wujud dari tugas humas
pemerintahan yakni untuk memberikan informasi mengenai kegiatan, program
dan kebijakan yang dilakukan IPDN, untuk memberikan klarifikasi atau bantahan
terhadap berbagai berita/issue yang dianggap merugikan lembaga (IPDN) serta
sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan citra lembaga. Sedangkan mengenai aspek
persiapan dalam penulisan press release dimulai dengan penentuan tujuan
penulisan press release, pengumpulan data dan informasi serta menentukan
beberapa media massa yang akan memuat press release; Untuk tahap pelaksanaan
berdasarkan pengamatan penulis press release sudah memenuhi kaidah-kaidah
penulisan berita seperti model piramida terbalik, unsur 5W+1H. Untuk tahap
evaluasi dilihat dari prosesnya sudah sesuai dengan pedoman penulisan berita.
Sedangkan untuk evaluasi hasilnya, untuk beberapa hal tertentu penulisan press
relase ini telah memberikan efek yang diharapkan oleh pihak IPDN baik yang
berupa efek kognitif, afektif maupun efek konatif.

Writing the final report aims to determine prose manufacture of a press release by
the public relations part of the Institute of Public Administration (IPDN)
Jatinangor Sumedang, which includes the planning process consists of a
background of press releases, preparation of press release, the conduct of the press
release manufacture and process evaluation press release has been made by the
public relations Jatinangor IPDN Sumedang.
The method used is descriptive, namely fatherly get a picture of these activities
using data collection techniques such as observation, interview and literature
study.
Results showed that the discussion of aspects of planning the manufacture of a
press release from the background is seen as a manifestation of the government
public relations task to provide information on activities, programs and policies
that do IPDN, to provide clarification or rebuttal to the various news / issue that is
considered detrimental to the institution ( IPDN) as well as efforts to improve the
image of the institution. As for the aspects of preparation in writing the press
release starts with the determination of the purpose of writing a press release, the
collection of data and information and determine some mass media that will load
the press release; For the execution phase is based on the writer's observation
press release already meet the rules of news writing like inverted pyramid model,
an element of 5W + 1H. For the evaluation phase of the process has seen
accordance with the guidelines of news writing. As for the evaluation of the
results, for some specific things writing press relase has given the expected effect
by either party in the form of securities IPDN cognitive, affective and conative
effects.
