Design Analysis Of A Children’s Scooter Using DFMA (Boothroyd Dewhurst) Method.

ABSTRACT

The objective of this project is to analyze an existing design of a selected the
manually children's scooter with foldable and to improve the design using the
Boothroyd Dewhurst DFMA method. The new design will contain reduce
component, cost, process for manufacturing and assembly to get highest design
efficiency. In order to achieve the objective, any information about children's scooter
and Boothroyd Dewhurst DFMA method were gathered to get a better insight on
how it works. This all information may come from books, journals, the internet, and
the library.
