ABSTRAK
SIM atau System Informasi Manajemen merupakan serangkaian sub-sistem informasi yang
menyeluruh dan terkoordinasi yang secara rasional mampu menstransformasikan data sehingga
menjadi informasi dengan berbagai cara guna meningkatkan produktivitas sesuai kebutuhan.
SIM tidak bisa lepas dari aplikasi database yang berbasis web atau biasa disebut web database.
Sama seperti sistem database yang lain, web database juga merupakan sistem penyimpanan data
yang dapat diakses oleh bahasa pemrograman tertentu.
Tugas akhir ini membahas tentang System Informasi Manajemen yang berupa Website sebagai
salah satu penunjang proses belajar mengajar pada Fakultas Teknik Elektro yang diakses melalui
PC (Komputer) yang terhubung dengan jaringan internet.
Website Teknik Elektro ini berfungsi sebagai salah satu pendukung dalam proses perencanaan,
pengendalian, pengevaluasian, dan perbaikan yang berkelanjutan pada Fakultas Teknik Jurusan
Elektro Universitas Muhammmadiyah Malang yang diaplikasikan untuk menghimpun berbagai
informasi tentang Jurusan Elektro Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang misalnya : profil dosen
dan karyawan, tugas, jadwal kuliah, forum diskusi, profil jurusan, profil laboratorium dan profil
lembaga intra di jurusan elektro yang dapat diakses dengan mudah dan cepat kapanpun user
membutuhkan informasi.
ABSTRACT
SIM or Management Information System or a sub-set of a comprehensive information system
that is coordinated and capable of rational menstransformasikan data into information with so
many different ways to increase productivity as needed.
SIM can not be separated from the application web-based database that is called regular or web
database. Same as the other system databases, web database is also a data storage system that can
be accessed by a particular programming language.
This final task of the Management Information System in the form of a website as a supporting
learning in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering is accessed through a PC (Computer) connected
to the Internet network.
Website of Electrical Engineering this work as one of the supporters in the process of planning,
controlling, evaluating, and improving sustainability in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering
Department University of Malang Muhammmadiyah applied to collect various information about
Department of Electrical University of Muhammadiyah Malang, for example: faculty and staff
profiles, tasks, schedule lectures, discussion forums, faculty profile, profiles, and laboratory
profile institutions in the intra-way electrical which can be accessed easily and quickly whenever
the user requires the information.

Elektro Universitas Muhammmadiyah Malang yang diaplikasikan untuk menghimpun berbagai
informasi tentang Jurusan Elektro Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang misalnya : profil dosen
dan karyawan, tugas, jadwal kuliah, forum diskusi, profil jurusan, profil laboratorium dan profil
lembaga intra di jurusan elektro yang dapat diakses dengan mudah dan cepat kapanpun user
membutuhkan informasi.
