ABSTRACTION
Concrete non sand as self is concrete which using its the mixture material harsh aggregate,
cemented, water and material added if it is required and eliminates sand in its the mixture.
Concrete non sand can be applied at structure, drainage channel underside plate, building is not
high rise, and others. But because eliminating sand in its the mixture concrete non sand has many
cavities causing can lessen its the compressive strength, to overcome the thing hence applied
material to add silica fume in improve, repairing concrete characteristic non sand.
This research to know addition influence of silica fume to compressive strength and concrete
porosity at the age of 28 days. Examination is done with making specimen 42 composing 7
various that is 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% silica fume from cement weight. Each
behavior of consisted of 6 repetition of the size 15×30 cm.
Result of research of shows that porosity value increasingly declines along with addition of silica
fume while assessing compressive strength to increase with addition of silica fume but addition
of optimum fume silica happened at addition of silica fume equal to 7% from cement weight is
gotten by porosity equal to 11.5% and concrete compressive strength non sand 245.01 kg/cm2.
ABSTRAKSI
Beton non pasir sendiri adalah beton yang mengunakan bahan campuran agregat kasar, semen,
air serta bahan tambah jika diperlukan dan menghilangkan pasir dalam campurannya. Beton non
pasir dapat digunakan pada struktur, plat bagian bawah saluran drainase, bangunan tidak
bertingkat, dan lain-lain. Namun karena menghilangkan pasir dalam campurannya beton non
pasir memiliki banyak rongga sehingga dapat mengurangi kuat tekannya, untuk mengatasi hal
tersebut maka digunakan bahan tambah silika fume dalam memperbaiki karakteristik beton non
pasir.
Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan silika fume terhadap kuat tekan dan
porositas beton pada umur 28 hari. Pengujian dilakukan dengan membuat benda uji sebanyak 42
yang terdiri 7 variasi yaitu 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% silika fume dari berat semen.
Yang masing-masing perilaku terdiri dari 6 pengulangan dengan ukuran 15×30 cm.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai porositas semakin menurun seiring dengan
penambahan silika fume sedangkan nilai kuat tekan meningkat dengan penambahan silika fume
namun penambahan silika fume optimum terjadi pada penambahan silika fume sebesar 7% dari
berat semen didapat porositas sebesar 11.5% dan kuat tekan beton non pasir sebesar 245.01
kg/cm2.
