Radiation exposure of radiation workers from 1997 – 2006 based on the criteria and working period

Telah dilakukan analisis paparan radiasi pada pekerja radiasi di
Yogyakarta mulai periode tahun 1997 sampai dengan tahun 2006. Penelitian
dilakukan di bidang A,B,C karena para pekerjanya mempunyai probabilitas
tinggi terkena paparan radiasi. Paparan radiasi pada pekerja diambil dari setiap
pekerja yang memakai (TLD) dan dosimeter film
( ). Pembacaan hasil paparan radiasi setiap tahun dilakukan di
Laboratorium Pusat Tekologi Keselamatan dan Metrologi Radiasi, BATAN.
Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui berapa besar dosis paparan radiasi yang
diterima pekerja radiasi dan telah dipenuhi atau tidaknya sistem pembatasan
dosis yang telah ditetapkan oleh ataupun Badan Pengawas Tenaga Nuklir (BAPETEN) sertamenentukan langkah lebih lanjut untuk menjamin keselamatan dan kesehatan
kerja pada pekerja radiasi. Jumlah pekerja radiasi yang menjadi subyek
penelitian sebanyak 45 orang pekerja radiasi pada ketiga bidang tersebut. Alat
pengumpul data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalahHasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa distribusi penerimaan dosis tahunan
personil mengelompok pada interval 042 mSv, dan penerimaan dosis tertinggi
6,09 mSv pada tahun 1998 dari bidang A. Secara keseluruhan penerimaan
dosis eksterna perorangan pada pekerja dari ketiga bidang yang dimonitor
masih dibawah Nilai Batas Dosis (NBD) yang direkomendasikan BAPETEN (SK
No.01/Ka.BAPETEN/V/99) yang besarnya 50 mSv per tahun dan ICRP 1990

The external acceptance dose of radiation worker in Yogyakarta have been
studied. This research was done in this three specific areas A,B,C, because of
worker in this trihedral have hit high probability radiation exposure. Radiation
exposure worker were taken from each worker who wears on period 199742006. Exposure result of radiation is done every yearin Laboratory Safety, Health and Environment, Centre of Research and
Development Safety Radiation, National Nuclear Energy Agency. This research
aim is to know how much exposure dose of radiation accepted by worker
radiation weather have been fulfilled or not the system limitation of dose which have been specified by
(ICRP) and or Nuclear Energy Regulation Agency and also determine
furthermore step to guarantee health and safety worker radiation worker.
Radiation worker that chosen as sample of research are 45 workers that are
radiation worker. Data collection which is used in this research using personnel
radiation monitors. The result of this analysis indicate that distribution
acceptance of annual dose personal of group interval 042 mSv, and acceptance of highest dose 6.09 mSv in the year 1998 from section A. Whole acceptance of dose of external personal at worker from third monitored area, still below the dose of limitation Nuclear Energy Regulation Agency which is recommended is 50 mSv/year and ICRP 1990 is 20 mSv/year.
