English must be understandable. There must be good understanding
among speakers and listeners also writers and readers in interpreting meaning.
Different interpretation is caused by many factors, and ambiguity is one of them.
The objectives of this research are: (1) To find out The Structural
Ambiguity of Noun Phrases In Website of Muria Kudus University. (2) To fix
The Structural Ambiguity of Noun Phrases In Website of Muria Kudus
University.
The design of this research is content analysis. The data is
structural ambiguity of noun phrases. The data source is Website of Muria Kudus
University. The writer finds 33 structural ambiguity of noun phrases and its 66
fixations. The way of fixation can be done by adding hyphen (-), Preposition (of),
and (which).
At the end of this research, the writer suggests: (1) The readers should
know the form and all about the factors which can cause of structural ambiguity of
noun phrases. (2). The writer should concern on punctuation mark.

Bahasa Inggris harus dapat dimengerti. Harus ada pemahaman yang baik
antara pembicara dan pendengar juga penulis dan pembaca dalam penterjemahan
makna. Penterjemahan yang berbeda disebabkan oleh banyak faktor dan
ambiguitas adalah salah satunya.
Penelitianinibertujuan: (1) Menemukan Ambiguitas Struktur pada Frasa
Benda di dalam Website Universitas Muria Kudus. (2) Memperbaiki ambiguitas
struktur pada frasa bendan di website universitas muria kudus. Penulis
menemukan 33 ambiguitas struktur frasa benda dengan 66 perbaikan. Adapun
perbaikan dapat dilakukan dengan tiga hal, yaitu menambahakan tanda
penghubung (-), preposisi (of), dan kata (which).
Pada akhir penelitian ini, penulis menyarankan agar: (1) Pembaca agar
mengerti bentuk dan faktor-faktor penyebab ambiguitas struktur frasa benda. (2)
Penggunaan tanda baca yang benar juga harus diperhatikan penulis
