ABSTRACT

STUDENTS PERCEPTION TOWARD ASSIGNMENT IN THEIR

LEARNING

(ENGLISH CORE COURSE ASSIGNMENT)

  ALI MUHTADIN JIHAD NASHRULLOH 1201050117

  Assignment is a method which used to gain goals of education. It was aimed to stimulate the students to be more enthusiastic in their study and to know the importance of study. In this research, there were some difficulties faced by the student in doing their assignment. Regarding this issue, this research was aimed to find out the students‟ perception toward the support of assignment in their learning. This research used descriptive survey technique which utilized questionnaire to collect the data on the students‟ perception. The finding showed that 76.67% students considered that giving assignment could make them study diligently. Most of the students like group assignment, it showed from the data that 76.67% students considered that they didn‟t like individual assignment. In addition, 56.67% students considered that the lecturers which routinely giving assignment could increase their responsibility in their study. Furthermore, 96.67% of the students considered that the lecturers which giving a good feedback could make them more motivated to study.
