Penelitian ini berjudul “Penggunaan Website www.sman1depok.sch.id Dalam
Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Informasi Murid di SMAN 1 Depok”. Penelitian ini
dibawah bimbingan Agus Setiaman, S.Sos., M.Si, sebagai pembimbing utama dan
Iwan Koswara, S.Sos., M.Si sebagai pembimbing pendamping.
Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sekolah SMAN 1 Depok Jl. Nusantara No.14
Depok ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Intensitas, Isi Pesan dan Daya
Tarik terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi murid di SMAN 1 Depok. Teori
yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Uses and Gratifications Theory
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan teknik
analisis data deskriptif dan tabulasi silang. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik
pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Sampel dari
penelitian ini adalah murid murid SMAN 1 Depok yang ditarik dengan
menggunakan purposive sample dengan ukuran sampel dalam penelitian ini
adalah 88 orang.
Hasil simpulan penelitian dari perhitungan statistik untuk pengujian
hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan website www.sman1depok.sch.id
berdampak terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi murid murid di SMAN 1
Depok. Dari sub variable penelitian ini intensitas, isi pesan dan daya tarik website
terhapad pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi secara keseluruhan berada pada
kategori sedang.

hendaknya
penggunaan

www.sman1depok.sch.id sebagai sumber informasi dimaksimalkan penggunaanya
dengan meningkatkan daya tarik terhadap website serta memaksimalkan isi pesan
dari website www.sman1depok.sch.id sebagai sumber informasi utama bagi para
murid murid di SMAN1 Depok.

University. The title of the research was “The Usage of www.sman1depok.sch.id
Website To Meet The Student Information Needs Of SMAN 1 Depok”. Supervised
by Agus Setiaman, S.Sos.,M.Si, as first counselor and IwanKoswara, S.Sos., M.Si
as second counselor.
The research which was done at SMAN 1 Depok Jl. Nusantara No. 14
Depok aimed to identify the intensity, message content and attraction toward the
fulfillment of the need of information of students at SMAN 1 Depok. The theory
used was Uses and Gratifications Theory.
The research used descriptive quantitative method with descriptive data
analysis and cross tabulation. The data was gathered through questionnaire,
interview and library study. The sample of the research was students of SMAN 1
Depok which was selected purposively amounted to 88 students.
The research result showed that from statistical calculation for hypothesis
testing it was found that the usage of www.sman1depok.sch.id website had an
effect toward the fulfillment of information need of students of SMAN 1 Depok. Of
the sub variable of the research, the intensity, message content and attraction of
website toward the fulfillment of information need of students in general could be
categorized as mediocre.
It could be suggested that the use of www.sman1depok.sch.id website as a
source of information should be optimized to improve the attractif.
