secured system is very essential for the management of the organization to supervise the
inventor. information effectivel y. Therefore. the future system that will be developed
must been analyzed and designed to ensure it meets the users' requirements.
FTMK" s Asset Management System is a web based system de eloped fo r the
FTM K· s lecturers and technicians. Thi s system is a centered-based system which
inclusi' e admin. inventory. product catalogue. he ip-desk module and repon modules to
help the management ,.vho are the technician s of FTMK and lectures in managi ng the
acti,·ities and process of inventory.
This system also focusing on the client-server architecture concept and
implementing the web-based technology. The software used is Micromedia Dream\-veaYer
MX. Editplus and My SQL for database and also using HTML and PHP for programm ing
language. The methodology used in developing thi s project is Obj ect Oriented Analys is
Design (OOAD).
The implementation of this system wi II replace the current
organ ization and will facilitate the management of ｩｮｶ･ｴｯｲｾ＠
ｳｾ＠

information of the equi pment includin g the location and the availability of the
product {status).

Problem in maintaining the inventory record.

the technicians have to refer to many forms from different files. Hence lead to
ineffi cient in data management. This system will gi ' e an authorizat ion only for
the system administrator to update the record in database. Apart from that. the
Report Module will generate report in graph ica l mode " ·hich is printable to keep
track the process of inventor:.

effecti vely for input entry, output producing and operation execution.
