Abstract
North Halmahera regency owns variety of unique and specific tourism objects, which has the
potential to be managed and developed into a tourism objects. Therefore a method such as
Geographic Information Systems is needed. This information systems only process data on a map of
the tourism objects and sand facilities such as hotels, markets, banks, offices, etc. In the District of
North Halmahera. This information systems only provide output data in the form of location
information region, district, street layout, tourism objects. By presenting information in the form of a
map, it can assist the user in getting informations about tourism objects and support facilities in
North Halmahera.

Abstrak
Wilayah Kabupaten Halmahera Utara memiliki berbagai objek wisata unik dan spesifik, yang
berpotensi guna dikelola dan dikembangkan menjadi objek wisata. Oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu
metode seperti Sistem Informasi Geografis. Sistem informasi ini hanya mengolah data pada peta
objek-objek wisata dan fasilitas pendukung seperti hotel, pasar, bank, kantor-kantor, dan lain-lain di
Kabupaten Halmahera Utara. Sistem informasi ini memberikan data keluaran berupa informasi letak
Wilayah, Kecamatan, letak jalan, objek-objek pariwisata. Penyajian informasi dalam bentuk peta,
dapat membantu pengguna dalam mendapatkan informasi tentang objek wisata maupun fasilitas
pendukung di Kabupaten Halmahera Utara.
