Who is the Cambridge O Level Statistics syllabus intended for?
The Cambridge O Level Statistics syllabus is intended for learners who wish to acquire a knowledge of
elementary statistical ideas, methods and terminology which provide a suitable foundation for further
study in statistics. Learners are able to develop skills in this area which could be used to support their
studies in other subjects. Candidates taking the Cambridge O Level Statistics examination are well
prepared to progress to an AS or A Level Statistics course.
When can the examination be taken?
The examination is available in the November session only.
What support materials are available?

What calculators can be used in the examination?
Calculators must satisfy the regulations in Section 5.2.3 of the Cambridge Handbook, so calculators
