CHAPTER IV
CONCLUSION

In this study, the writer wanted to find out the character
development of Jane Eyre through her external conflicts. Before the
writer did the research, the writer had assumption that Jane’s
characteristic would develop after she faced several conflicts appeared
during fighting for her love. So in this study firstly the writer tried to
find the Jane’s characteristics through her external conflicts. The next
step the writer found Jane external conflict. The last step, the writer
concluded the character development of Jane through her external
conflict
From the analysis it could be found that the character
development of the main character has changed after she had marry. In
the first stage, the character of Jane Eyre was describe as weak and
obedient little girl, and at the end the has changed, Jane Eyre changed
become strong and brave woman.
