The IAE was held at the Singapore Supreme Court Auditorium. The first day
of the IAE (23 March 2006) began with the opening remarks by the
Honorable Attorney General of Singapore, Mr. Chan Sek Keong, followed by
a welcome address by the Deputy Prime Minister, Coordinating Minister for
National Security and Minister for Law, Professor S. Jayakumar. At night,
the delegates were treated at a welcome dinner at the River Room, Asian
Civilizations Museum.
