ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perputaran persediaan
terhadap profitabilitas pada perusahaan makanan dan minuman di Bursa Efek
Indonesia tahun 2011 – 2014. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif
verifikatif dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metode
dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang dikumpulkan dari
website Bursa Efek Indonesia berupa laporan keuangan dari tahun 2011-2014.
Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah perusahaan makanan dan minuman yang
terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia sebanyak 15 perusahaan. Teknik pengambilan
sampel berdasarkan purposive sampling diperoleh sampel sebanyak 13
perusahaan. Pengujian hipotesis pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode regresi
sederhana. Dari hasil statistik Uji-t diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa perputaran
persediaan memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap profitabilitas.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to find the influence of inventory turnover
towards the profitability in the food and beverage company in the year of 20112014. The method used the verificative descriptive and documentation for
collecting data. This research used secunder data that collected financial report
from the website of indonesian stock exchange from the year 2011 -2014. The
population from this research is food and beverage company that listed in the
indonesian stock exchange as much as 15 company. The technique for collecting
data is purposive sampling to get 13 company. The hypothesis test for this
research is used the simple regression method. From the statistic result of T-test,
the conclusion is the inventory turnover have the positive influence toward the
profitability.

ABSTRAK
