We have updated this syllabus. The latest syllabus is version 2, published February 2015.
Changes have been made to page 12, Paper 1 Verse Literature.
The statement below has now been removed from the syllabus.
Where prescribed text prescriptions specify only a portion or portions of an individual book, candidates
are expected to have read the rest of the book in translation. Precise information is given with each
prescription in the prescribed texts section below.
This has been done to clarify the expectations of wider reading for candidates.
