ABSTRAK
Kertas karya ini berjudul “The Darkness in Kill Me If You Can By James
Patterso & Marshall Karp” membahas tentang kegelapan yang tergambar pada
novel Kill Me If You Can. Yang dimaksud oleh penulis tentang kegelapan ialah
segala perbuatan yang tidak baik, baik itu tergambar dalam watak seseorang
ataupun rencana serta perbuatan. Jadi, yang digambarkan oleh penulis dalam
novelnya adalah Matthew Bannon adalah seorang mahasiswa seni dan mantan
marinir, pada saat kejadian pembunuhan di Grand Central Station. Dia berada di
tempat kejadian, dan dia tersandung pada seorang pria yang baru saja ditembak.
Dia segera menemukan banyak berlian di loker orang yang sudah meninggal,
tampaknya matthew berusaha untuk mendapatkan. Matt mengambil berlian dan
berjalan pulang. Walter Zelvas adalah anggota atas Sindikasi Berlian internasional
yang telah membawa lari berlian bernilai $16,000,000 dari pekerjaannya. Dan ia
berniat menggelapkan berlian ini bersama pacarnya Natalie tapi alhasil semua
musnah karena Natalie adalah anak dari Pangeran Nathaniel. Walter hanya
berpikir berlian itu hanya miliknya dan akan dibawa pergi bersamanya. Pangeran
Nathaniel adalah pemilik asli berlian, menyewa salah satu orang yang terbaik hitman yaitu the ghost, untuk membunuh Matthew Bannon dan berliannya kembali.
Vadim Chukov adalah seorang suruhan dari pangeran natahaniel untuk mencari
berliannya. Dan Vadim Chukov mempekerjakan kedua pembunuh bayaran yaitu
Ghost dan Marta Krall untuk menemukan berlian. Dan misi Vadim adalah
menyuruh Marta untuk membunuh Ghost. The Ghost adalah seorang pembunuh
yang tidak pernah membuat kesalahan . Ia cepat , berpengalaman dan hilang
seperti hantu ketika pekerjaan selesai . Suatu malam di Grand Central Station New
York, ia telah menerima misi untuk membunuh Walter Zelvas , seorang pria yang
tahu sedikit , namun demikian cukup banyak mendengar tentangnya. Marta Krall
adalah seorang pembunuh bayaran, Dia pernah menempatkan delapan belas
peluru ke agen DEA dan dia menyamar selama tiga hari. Sekarang ia berusaha
mencari Matthew dan ghost untuk disiksa setelah itu dibunuh, lalu mengambil
berlian pada Matthew. Novel ini berisi banyak tentang kekerasan, berlian, mafia,
seks dan. Tujuan penulis makalah ini adalah untuk menunjukkan siapa yang
melakukan suatu pembunuhan berencana yang terjadi di Grand Central Terminal.
Penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan untuk mengumpulkan data
dari beberapa buku yang terkait dengan topic yang dibahas dan mengumpulkan
data dengan menggunakan metode internet.

ABSTRACT
This paper entitled is about "The Darkness in Kill Me If You Can By
James Patterso & Marshall Karp" discusses the process of darkness depicted in the
novel Kill Me If You Can. What is meant by the author of darkness is all that was
not good, well it reflected in the character of a person or the plans and actions. So
which is described by the author in his novel is Matthew Bannon is an art student
and former Marine, at the time of the murders in Grand Central Station. He was at
the scene, and he stumbled upon a man who had just been shot. He soon found
many diamonds in the lockers of people who have died, seems matthew trying to
get. Matthew took that diamond and walked home. Walter Zelvas is a member of
the international Diamond Syndicate has carried them off diamonds worth $
16,000,000 from his job. And he intends to darken this diamond with his
girlfriend Natalie but eventually destroyed all her hopes because Natalie was the
son of Prince Nathaniel. Walter just thinks the diamond only his own and will be
bring away with him. Prince Nathaniel is the original owner of the diamond, hired
one of the best hit-man is the ghost, to kill Matthew Bannon and diamonds back.
Vadim Chukov is a messenger unto from the Prince Natahaniel to find his
diamond. And Vadim Chukov hired both assassins is the Ghost and Marta Krall to
find diamonds. And mission Vadim is ordered Marta to kill Ghost. The Ghost is a
murderer who has never made a mistake. He is fast, experienced and disappears
like ghosts when the work is completed. One night at Grand Central Station New
York, he has received the mission to kill Walter Zelvas, a man who knows a little,
but nevertheless enough much heard of him. Marta Krall is an assassin, she ever
put the bullet to eighteen and she was disguise to DEA agent for three days. Now
she is trying to find Matthew and The Ghost to torture after killed, and then take
the diamond in Matthew. This novel contains a lot of about violence, diamonds,
mobsters, sex and chases between assassins. The purpose of this paper the author
is to show a killer who does a murder that occurred in Grand Central Terminal.
The writer uses library research methods to collect data from several books related
to the topic and collect data using the internet media.
