Penelitian ini ditulis dengan mengajukan rumusan masalah sebagai berikut:
1) bagaimana kompetensi personal (kepribadian) guru di MA Darul Huda
Wonodadi Blitar?, 2) bagaimana minat belajar siswa di MA Darul Huda
Wonodadi Blitar?, 3) adakah pengaruh kompetensi personal (kepribadian) guru
terhadap minat belajar siswa di MA Darul Huda Wonodadi Blitar?
Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu sebgaai berikut: 1) untuk mengetahui
kompetensi personal (kepribadian) guru di MA Darul Huda Wonodadi Blitar, 2)
untuk mengetahui minat belajar siswa di MA Darul Huda Wonodadi Blitar, 3)
untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh kompetensi personal (kepribadian) guru
terhadap minat belajar siswa di MA Darul Huda Wonodadi Blitar.
Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan
kuantitatif. populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru sebanyak 21 guru
dan seluruh peserta didik kelas X dan XI sebanyak 148. Sampel dalam penelitian

ini adalah 19 guru dan peserta didik kelas X dan XI yang berjumlah 105 siswa
ditentukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data variabel
kompetensi personal guru dan minat belajar siswa menggunakan angket skla
likert. Validitas instrumen angket di uji dengan rumus korelasi product momment
dengan taraf kesalahan sebesar 5%. Uji reliabilitas angket di uji menggunakan
Alpha Conbrach. Uji persyaratan analisis linieritas di uji sebelum hipotesis.
Sedangkan uji hipotesis di uji dengan analisis regresi sederhana.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) kompetensi personal guru dalam
kategori tinggi dengan rata-rata 43% dengan rentang skor 105-119, 2) minat
belajar siswa dalam kategori cukup dengan rata-rata 55% dengan rentang skor
118-131, 3) kompetensi personal (kepribadian) guru memiliki pengaruh yang
signifikan terhadap minat belajar siswa di buktikan dengan nilai t hitung > t tabel
yaitu sebesar 4.156 > 1.734 dan sumbangan efektifitas sebesar 50.4%.

This research is a descriptive research with quantitative approach.
Populationin this study is all teachersas many as 2l teachersand all students
clais X and XI as many as 148.The samplesin this study were 19 teachersand
studentsclassX and XI which amountedto 105 studentsdeterminedby simple

random sampling technique.Data collection of teacher'spersonalcompetence
variable and student'sinterest in using questionnaireLikert scale. Validity of
questionnaireinstrumentin test with product moment correlationformula with
error rate of 5o/o.Test of questionnairereliability testedusing Alpha Conbrach.
Test requirementsof linearity analysis in test before hypothesis.While the
hypothesistest in the test with simpleregressionanalysis.
The results showedthat: 1) personalcompetenceof teachersin the high
categorywith an averageof 43Yowith a scorerangeof 105-119,2) interestin
studentlearningin sufficient categorywith an averageof 52Yowith a scorerange
of 118-131,3) competencePersonalteachershave a significantinfluenceon
studentlearninginterestin provewith the value of t-count> ttable that is equalto
of 50.4%o.
