Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh
efisiensi biaya produksi terhadap tingkat profitablitas dengan gross profit margin
sebagai indikator nya pada PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VIII (Persero). Metode
pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode sample jenuh.
Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kebun-kebun berkomoditi teh dan aktif dalam
kegiatan operasional produksi teh yang berjumlah 22 kebun. Alat analisis statistik
yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi
linier sederhana dengan bantuan SPSS 20.0. Hasil pengujian hipotesis
menunjukkan bahwa efisiensi biaya produksi berpengaruh positif terhadap
profitabilitas.

The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the influence of
the efficiency of production costs on the profitability level of gross profit margin
as an indicator at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VIII (Persero). The sampling method
in this study using saturated sample. The population in this study is commodity
tea gardens and is active in the production operations totaling 22 tea gardens.
Statistical analysis tool used to test the hypothesis of this study is a simple linear
regression analysis using SPSS 20.0. Results of hypothesis testing showed that the
positive effect of production cost efficiency on profitability.
