ABSTRAK
Perkembangan komoditas nanas di Desa Astomulyo, Kecamatan Punggur,
Kabupaten Lampung Tengah semakin pesat. Namun dengan adanya perkembangan ini
mengakibatkan banyaknya lahan pertanian tanaman pangan diubah menjadi lahan untuk
kebun nanas. Perubahan ini banyak dilatarbelakangi oleh keinginan masyarakat petani
untuk mencapai kesejahteraan keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat faktor
dominan apa yang menyebabkan adanya perubahan, membandingkan kondisi kesejahteraan
masyarakat sebelum dan setelah perubahan, dan bagaimana pengaruh dari perubahan
komoditas tanaman tersebut terhadap kondisi kesejahteraan petani. Metode penelitian ini
menggunakan metode deskripsi dengan analisis data menggunakan skoring kesejahteraan
menggunakan indikator dari Badan Pusat Statistik, tabulasi silang (crosstab) dan regresi
linear berganda dengan menggunakan software SPSS 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
bahwa faktor dominan penyebab perubahan adalah untuk mengejar keuntungan yang lebih
tinggi. Kesejahteraan masyarakat sebelum perubahan masih tergolong sedang-rendah
namun setelah perubahan terjadi peningkatan kesejahteraan menjadi tinggi-rendah. Hasil
analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari perubahan komoditas ini
terhadap kesejahteraan petani. Sebelum adanya perubahan, luas lahan dan pendapatan
produksi bersih 15,2% berpengaruh terhadap kesejahteraan petani. Sedangkan setelah
adanya perubahan, luas lahan dan pendapatan produksi bersih berpengaruh sebesar 32,5%
terhadap kesejahteraan petani. Berdasarkan analisis ini, terjadi peningkatan pengaruh
sebesar 17,3%. Direkomendasikan untuk para petani agar menjaga kualitas tanah dengan
menggunakan sistem pergiliran tanaman, untuk pemerintah daerah agar memperhatikan
pola perubahan komoditas tanaman agar tidak lepas kendali dan merugikan petani
komoditas lain.

ABSTRACT
Pineapple commodity development in the village Astomulyo, Punggur sub-district, Central
Lampung regency is more rapidly. This development result many crop lands converted into land
for pineapple. This change is caused by the farmer’s desire to increase the welfare of the family.
This study aimed to see what the dominant factor that causes the change, compare the welfare of
the community before and after the change, and how the influence of changes in the agricultural
orientation of the condition of the welfare of farmers. This research method use the description
method and data analysis use a scoring wellbeing use indicators of the Badan Pusat Statistik, cross
tabulation and multiple linear regression using SPSS 23. The result showed that the dominant
factor caused the changes is for the pursuit of higher profits. The welfare of society before the
changes are classified as low to medium, but once the changes occurs increased prosperity into
medium to high. Statistic analysis showed that there is an influence of this shift towards the welfare
of farmers. Before the change, the land area and the net production revenue 15.2% influence on the
welfare of farmers meanwhile, after the change, the land area and the net production revenue
32.5% impact on the welfare of farmers. So, based on this analysis, there was an increase of 17.3%
influence. Recommendation for the farmers is to keep the quality of soil using crop rotation system,
for the government to pay attention the orientation farm changing pattern to lost control and harm
the other farmer.
