Optimalisasi Kapasitas Produksi Kaos Kaki “Jempol” dengan metode
Simplex di CV Sinar Harapan Periode 2011
ABSTRAK
CV Sinar Harapan adalah sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang
manufaktur. Produk yang dihasilkan perusahaan ini salah satunya adalah Kaos Kaki
“Jempol”. Ada tiga jenis Kaos Kaki “Jempol” yang diproduksi, yaitu Kaos Kaki
“Jempol” Mata Kaki, Kaos Kaki “Jempol” 3/4 dan Kaos Kaki “Jempol” Lutut.
Penjualan ketiga jenis Kaos Kaki “Jempol” ini, memiliki tingkat keuntungan yang
berbeda. Maka dari itu, agar perusahaan dapat memperoleh keuntungan yang optimal,
perusahaan harus mengetahui jumlah produksi optimal dari ketiga jenis produk
tersebut yang disesuaikan dengan faktor produksi yang dimiliki. Namun, dengan
berbagai kendala yang ada, hal tersebut akan sulit untuk dilakukan jika hanya dengan
metode perkiraan. Untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut, maka perhitungan jumlah
produksi dapat dirumuskan ke dalam model Linear Programming dan diselesaikan
dengan metode Simpleks. Perhitungan akan dilakukan secara manual serta verifikasi
menggunakan software LINGO 11.0. Hasil dari implementasi sistem optimalisasi
tersebut, yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan masalah optimasi produksi Kaos Kaki
“Jempol” di CV Sinar Harapan, diketahui bahwa keuntungan optimal yang dapat
diperoleh CV Sinar Harapan selama periode 2011 adalah sebesar Rp 322.185.000,00
dengan jumlah produksi optimal Kaos Kaki “Jempol” Mata Kaki adalah sebesar
31.460 lusin, jumlah produksi optimal Kaos Kaki “Jempol” 3/4 adalah sebesar
15.630 lusin dan jumlah produksi optimal Kaos Kaki “Jempol” Lutut adalah sebesar
0 lusin.

Production Capacity Optimalization of “Jempol” Socks Using Simplex Method in

ABSTRACT
CV Sinar Harapan is a company which works in manufacturing. One of the
product from this company is “Jempol” Socks. There are three types of “Jempol”
Socks that produced, namely “Jempol” Socks Mata Kaki, “Jempol” Socks 3/4 and
“Jempol” Socks Lutut. Sales of both “Jempol” Socks types, has the different profit
level. Therefore, in order that company can obtain optimum benefit, company must
know the optimal production number of both products types which settled with
company’s production factor. But, with the various constraints that exist, it would be
difficult to do if only by approximate methods. To solve the problem, then the
calculation of the amount of production can be formulated into a Linear
Programming model and solved by Simplex method. The Calculation will be
provided with manual process and using of Lingo 11.0 software for the verification. A
Conclusion from the implementation of the optimization system, which is used to
solve optimization problems of “Jempol” Socks production in CV Sinar Harapan,
then it is known that optimal benefits can be obtained by CV Sinar Harapan during
the 2011 period are Rp 322.185.000,00 with the optimal production number of
“Jempol” Socks Mata Kaki are 31.460 dozens, the optimal production number of
“Jempol” Socks are 15.630 dozens and the optimal production number of “Jempol”
Socks are 0 dozen.
