Narrative and Descriptive class of Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Satya Wacana Christian
University. Twenty students of 2011, who already took the class, were asked to collect their
draft and fifteen of them were interviewed as the participants. The finding of the study found
kinds of feedback students got from the teacher shown in table 1 and 2 and 4 heading. The
result of this study shows the students prefer direct feedback rather than indirect feedback,
explanation on codes is still needed and also students need positive feedback from the
teacher. This study is hoped that teacher will be aware of the way they give feedback so that
students can recognize and use it well.
