All praise be to Allah SWT, the Most Gracious and Most Merciful, who has given me
the strength and courage to finish this research paper.
The research paper titled “A Critical Discourse Analysis of News Articles on the
Disputed Quick Count Results during the 2014 Indonesian Presidential Election” is
submitted to English Education Department of Indonesia University of Education as a
partial fulfillment of the requirements for Sarjana Sastra degree.
