Parents of preschoolers, help is here! By christianfictionaddiction I'm always on the lookout for fun, Bible-themed story books and activities that my children can both be entertained by and learn from at the same time. Zonderkidz has filled that need with a great book that your children are sure to love, because mine sure did! The "Super-Duper Mighty Jumbo Activity Book" is an absolute treasure trove of 382 pages of dot-to-dots, word puzzles, matching games, mazes. The book will help your preschooler learn counting, help them practice tracing letters, and engage their mind, all while using fun pictures from the Bible to help them learn.

Use your favorite colors to color the flowers,” it is suggested in Zondervan’s children’s book, Super-Duper Mighty Jumbo Activity Book. Part of The Beginner’s Bible series, this 384-page oversized paperback targets young children ages three to eight years old who enjoy coloring and doing activities involving the Bible. With a few illustrations of scary scenes such as the Egyptian plagues, Daniel’s friends in the fire, and a partial view of Jesus dying on the cross, children learn visually some of the stories in the Word of God. Using the New International Reader’s Version of the Holy Bible, both Old and New Testament stories are referenced. This reviewer wished all pronouns of God were capitalized for reverence. In this thick book that can be reproduced for classroom use, well-known stories of the Bible are given through black and white pictures, games, and puzzles. Starting with the Creation, iconic figures such as Noah, Moses, Gideon, David, Elijah, Peter, Paul, and John to name a few are mentioned. Focusing often on Jesus and His birth, death, and resurrection, His miracles are also depicted. Not told in a story format, one or two pages cover a topic. With the main purpose being activities, the choices are vast for a young artist. In addition to drawings to color, there are games of connecting the dots, finding, counting and circling specific items, working mazes, drawing additional objects, tracing alphabet letters and numbers, and selecting matching pictures. The end of the book contains duplicate pictures of Bible characters that can be cut out and used as a matching game. Also added are cut-out number cards up to twenty as well as five puzzles to cut and more assorted activities.
