Faktor-Faktor yang Berhubungan dengan Kecelakaan Kerja pada Pekerja Produksi di PT. Jaya Beton Indonesia Medan Tahun 2017
ABSTRAK
Kecelakaan kerja yang terjadi pada pekerja produksi suatu perusahaan
selain merugikan secara langsung bagi pekerja yang bersangkutan juga
menimbulkan dampak yang tidak ringan bagi perusahaan. PT. Jaya Beton
Indonesia Medan merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pembuatan
produk beton, yang dalam setiap proses produksinya terdapat kemungkinan untuk
terjadinya kecelakaan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktorfaktor yang berhubungan dengan kecelakaan kerja pada pekerja produksi di PT.
Jaya Beton Indonesia Medan tahun 2017.
Penelitian ini bersifat analitik dengan desain cross sectional. Sampel pada
penelitian ini berjumlah 55 orang pekerja produksi yang dipilih dengan
menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Data yang diolah bersumber
dari kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada pekerja.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 20 pekerja (36,4%)
pernah mengalami kecelakaan kerja dan 35 pekerja (63,6%) tidak pernah
mengalami kecelakaan kerja. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan ada hubungan yang
bermakna antara pengetahuan (p value = 0,026), sikap (p value = 0,002),
kepatuhan terhadap prosedur (p value = 0,039), pengawasan (p value = 0,001),
dan lingkungan kerja (p value = 0,039) dengan kecelakaan kerja. Sedangkan usia
(p value = 0,308) dan masa kerja (p value = 0,759) tidak menunjukkan hubungan
yang bermakna.
Disarankan perusahaan memberikan reward and punishment kepada
pekerja terkait keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja, meningkatkan pemberian
pengarahan dan pengawasan, serta pemeliharaan tata rumah di tangga tempat
kerja. Selain itu juga disarankan kepada pekerja agar lebih memperhatikan
pentingnya penerapan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja baik dengan pengawasan
ataupun tanpa pengawasan perusahaan.

ABSTRACT
The work accident that happened to the company’s production workers
besides harmed directly to the workers, also raised the big impact to the company.
PT. Jaya Beton Indonesia Medan is a company that have a role in the
manufacture of concrete products, which in every production process there is the
possibility of work accidents. This research aims to determine the factors that
influence to the work accident of the production workers at PT. Jaya Beton
Indonesia Medan in 2017
The characteristic of this research is analytic using cross sectional design.
The sample in this research is 55 people production workers selected by
proportional random sampling technique. Processed data sourced from
questionnaires distributed to workers.
The result of the research shows that there are 20 workers (36.4%) had
experienced work accidents and 35 workers (63.6%) never had experienced work
accident. The result of statistical test shows that there is a significant correlation
between knowledge (p value = 0,026), attitude (p value = 0002), compliance to
procedure (p value = 0,039), supervision (p value = 0,001), and work
environment (p value = 0,039) to work accident. While age (p value = 0,308) and
length of work (p value = 0,759) did not show significant correlation.
According to the result of this research, it is suggested to the company to
provide rewards and punishments to workers regarding occupational safety and
health, improving briefing and supervision requirements, and maintenance of
housekeeping at the workplace. It is also advisable for workers to pay more
attention to the implementing of occupational safety and health both with the
supervision or without the supervision of the company.
