Accounting standards issued but not yet effective continued
Effective January 1, 2016 continued: ·
Amendments to PSAK 15: Investments in Associates and Joint Ventures on Investment Entities: The Application of Consolidation Exception.
The amendments provide clarification on consolidation exception for investment entities when certain criterias are met.
· Amendments to PSAK 16: Property, Plant and Equipment on Clarification of the Accepted
Depreciation and Amortization Methodology. The amendments provide additional explanation of the approximate indication of the
technical or commercial obsolescence of an asset. The amendments also clarify that use of the depreciation method based on revenue is not appropiate.
· Amendments to PSAK 19: Intangible Assets on Clarification of the Accepted Depreciation and Amortization Methodology.
The amendments provide clarification on the presumption that revenue is not appropriate reflects the consumption of the economic benefits embodied in the intangible assets is
rebutted in certain limited circumstances.
· Amendments to PSAK 24: Employee Benefits on a Defined Benefit Plans: Contribution from Employees.
The amendments simplify the accounting for the contribution from employees or third parties that independent on the number of years of service, for example contributions from
employees that are fixed percentage of the employee
