ABSTRACT
Internet developments forcing ecommerce development work for the data menginteraksikan e
commerce applications that can be accessed from platforms and different devices. Web services
present in the midst of the development of ecommerce to support the interoperability of e
commerce applications that can menginteraksikan and collaborate data between platforms and
different devices.
Web services can be called by other applications using the protocol HTTP (Hypertext Transfer
Protocol), so with a web service, the application can communicate with other applications at any
time, anywhere and anytime, using any platform. This service web solutions has helped
companies in the field of ecommerce based website that can be accessed by a desktopbased
applications and mobile devices.
ABSTRAK
Web service adalah sebuah sistem yang dirancang untuk dapat mendukung interaksi komunikasi
antar mesinmesin pada suatu jaringan dapat di panggil oleh aplikasi lain dengan menggunakan
protocol HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol), jadi dengan adanya web service, berbagai aplikasi
dapat berkomunikasi dengan aplikasi yang lainya setiap saat, dimana saja dan kapan saja dan
dengan menggunakan platform apa saja. Solusi web service ini telah membantu perusahaan yang
bergerak dalam bidang ecommerce yang berbasis website agar bisa di akses oleh aplikasi
berbasis desktop dan mobile device.
Web Services dapat digunakan secara internal oleh suatu aplikasi atau secara eksternal,
digunakan secara eksternal di sini maksudnya yaitu Web Services terdapat pada internet dan
digunakan oleh berbagai macam aplikasi. Web Services mudah diakses melalui interface standar
dan Web Services juga mengijinkan bermacammacam sistem untuk bekerja bersamasama
dalam sebuah pekerjaan sehingga masingmasing platform dapat berjalan interoperabilitasnya.
