ABSTRAKSI
Pada tugas akhir ini dibuat aplikasi informasi fasilitas umum berbasis Java mobile dengan
menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Java, platform Java2 Micro Edition (J2ME) dengan cakupan
wilayah kota Samarinda. Aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi yang berkualitas
kepada para pengguna dan menyajikan produk informasi dalam bentuk data dan gambar serta
peta lokasi obyek fasilitas umum. Aplikasi ini akan menyelesaikan beberapa masalah seperti
pencarian lokasi objek dan pencarian jalan utama yang ada di kota Samarinda.
Aplikasi peta mobile ini akan menyajikan peta dengan layer informasi di dalamnya yang akan
memperjelas jalur transportasi yang dapat digunakan untuk mencapai lokasi obyek fasilitas
umum yang diinginkan oleh pengguna. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, sistem aplikasi pelayanan
fasilitas umum di kota Samarinda Kalimantan Timur dapat berjalan dengan baik pada spesifikasi
handphone yang mendukung aplikasi JAVA dengan MIDP 2.0 dan CLDC 1.0.
ABSTRACT
This thesis established an application of public facilities service in Samarinda City, East
Kalimantan, Based on Java Mobile by using Java programming language, platform Java2 Micro
Edition (J2ME) with the scope of Samarinda City. This application will give a good application
for the users by providing the information as picture and location map of the public facilities
object. The application will resolve the searching object location and the high way searching in
Samarinda City.
The mobile map application will provide the information layer on the map to clarify the path to
reach the object location of public facility as user wish. Based on the testing part the application
system of public facility service in Samarinda City, East Kalimantan will run as well on the hand
phone with the specification that support to Java application MIDP 2.0 and CLDC 1.0.
