INTRODUCTION
The Internasional Seminar on Dynamic Revitalisation
of Java Fishing Port and Capture Fisheries on
Promoting the Indonesian Fishery Development and
the launcing of "Atlas of Fisheries dan Fishing Port in
java " successfully held in Bogar - West Java -, 6-7
June 2005, with the big number of 150 participants
from all region in Java and other country such as
French.
Here in this opportunity, I would like to express our
greatest gratitude to all participant and supporters and
financially for their enormous and enegetic input to
the Seminar on Dynamic Revitalisation of Java
Fishing Port and Capture Fisheries on Promoting the
Indonesian Fishery Development". Here, the Proceeding is ready to go for the
world-wide distribution with the 12 primary papers and 6 secondary papers.
The Seminar was started with the Main Session of Indonesian Gouvernment by
(The Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries ): Directorate General of Capture
Fisheries, Directorate of Marketing and Institution _Capacities Increasing, etc. The
Scientific Session followed as the one day presentation and discussion in two
separated topic on the capture fisheries. Fisheries cooperative and fishing port in

Indonesia and France.
At the last moment of this message, we would like to express our greatest gratitude
to the Government of Indonesia through Bogor Agricultural University and the
Government of French through Universite de Nantes and CNRS (Centre National
de Recherche Scientifique) Nantes. Constructively financing mostly coming from
Embassy of French in Jakarta. I wish to extend my special gratitude to Ministry of
