F. Try Out
Try out was conducted to identify how accurate and effective the tests before they are used to collect the data of the research and to identify whether the test can be
administered or not. The test instrument of the students‟ mastery in using degrees of comparison was tried out to the students out of the sample of the research.
In this research, after doing the try out, the researcher used validity and reliability to
get the valid instrument. The researcher measured the validity and reliability by trying out the instrument to the students that had been chosen as the sample. The test
specification can be seen in the table below:
