Abstraksi
Drinking water as human need sometimes found substance that can disturb human well-being Fe, and
also there are some parameter other like Mn, Kesadahan, TDS, and Muddiness with other source pollution,
especially in water difficult region. Eksperimental study with household scale clean water processing tool
design aims to look for combination resin and sand effective in demote degree of Fe and another parameter.
Water sample comes from region with degree Fe tall that is at port city glad cape region floats and laboratory
analysis is done at well-being Healthy Polytechnic Laboratory Tanjungkarang. Observation of water screen
based on the filters media treatment and measurement analysis by using efficiency formula towards
measurable substance depreciation. The result is depreciation of concentration each parameter with
depreciation efficiency Fe as 78,32 %, Mn (77,12 %), Kesadahan (4,19 %), TDS (3,02 %), Muddiness (14,29
%). Depreciation of concentration parameter on can happen caused by work mechanism from sand media in
filtered, and chemistry activities manganese zeolite (resin) that elaborate dirts (impurities) is dissolved from
iron molecule, manganese, kesadahan and TDS be substansi simple, not dangerous, or changed to be
compound is not dissolved. Media filter manganese zeolite (resin) of kind produces biggest depreciation from
Fe and another water quality parameter is compared with sand filter media and sand combination with
manganese zeolite (resin). So that necessary apply water screening technology by using media manganese
zeolite (resin) for clean water for public health.
