The second interview guideline was for the teacher. The researcher used the second interview guideline Table 3.4 in order to obtain qualitative data about
the implementation of cooperative learning in the class to answer the second research question.

1. There are some factors that determine the success of
group work. The factors are the learning goals of the group and the task given Nation, 1989.
The teacher has to create a highly structured and well- organized learning environment in the classroom,
setting goals, planning and structuring tasks, establishing the physical arrangement of the classroom,
assigning students to groups and roles, and selecting materials and time Johnson et al. 1994.

The researcher can repeat the questions in case the respondents the students and the teacher do not understand the questions. The researcher can also
develop the questions so that there is a possibility for the researcher to gain additional information supporting the research.
