  Musik adalah salah satu cara untuk merangsang perkembangan otak yang baik bagi anak. Pengenalan musik akan lebih memberikan manfaat yang optimal jika dimulai sejak usia dini. Disisi lain, interior kursus musik di Surakarta mempunyai permasalahan dalam ergonomi dan sistem akustik. Karakteristik pembelajaran anak usia dini adalah belajar sambil bermain, terutama pengenalan bentuk dan warna. Hal tersebut menjadi ide perancangan sebuah sekolah musik khususnya bentuk dan warna yang dihasilkan oleh spektrum warna dari gelombang suara. Untuk mendukung ide gagasan tersebut diambil tema bentuk dan warna dari indikator equalizer pada panel-panel akustik.

  Music is a way to encourage child ’s brain development. Introducing music for children should be begin in early age to obtain the best result. In other hand, interior of music courses has problems, they are ergonomy and acoustic system.

  Learning through play is a way how child can learn, especially introducing shape and colour. Accordingly, shape and colour of spectrum from colour waves is the idea for design of this music school. To encourage this idea, the theme of design is shape and colour from equalizer indicator on acoustic panels.
