ABSTRAK
ANALISIS PENGARUH FERTILITAS, MORTALITAS, DAN
TRANSMIGRASI BINAAN TERHADAP INDEKS PEMBANGUNAN
MANUSIA DI SUMATERA UTARA
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Indeks Pembangunan
Manusia di Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder
yang diperoleh langsung dari Badan Pusat Statistik dan dinas atau instansi terkait.
Analisis yang digunakan bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif dengan model
analisis linier berganda. Variabel yang digunakan adalah Indeks Pembangunan
Manusia (IPM), Fertilitas (TFR), Mortalitas (IMR), dan Transmigrasi Binaan.
Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan SPSS 21 sebagai alat estimasi.
Hasil regresi menunjukkan bahwa Fertilitas berpengaruh positif secara
tidak signifikan terhadap peningkatan IPM, Mortalitas berpengaruh negatif secara
signifikan terhadap IPM dan Transmigrasi Binaan berpengaruh negatif secara
tidak signifikan terhadap IPM. Peningkatan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia dapat
dijelaskan secara bersamaan oleh Fertilitas, Mortalitas dan Transmigrasi Binaan
sebesar 95,1% dan 4.9% lainnya dijelaskan oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak
disebutkan dalam model ini.

ABSTRACT
ANALYSIS OF EFFECT OF FERTILITY, MORTALITY, AND
TRANSMIGRATION PATRONAGE ON HUMAN DEVELOPMENT INDEX
IN NORTH SUMATRA
The purpose of this study was to determine the Human Development Index
in the province of North Sumatra. This study used secondary data obtained
directly from the Central Bureau of Statistics and departments or agencies.
The analysis used descriptive quantitative analysis of multiple linear
models. The variable used is the Human Development Index (HDI), fertility
(TFR), mortality (IMR), and Transmigration Patronage. In this study using SPSS
21 as an estimation tool.
The regression results indicate that fertility is not significant positive effect
on the increase in the HDI, mortality was significantly negative effect on the HDI
and Transmigration Patronage no significant negative effect on the HDI.
Improved Human Development Index can be explained simultaneously by
Fertility, Mortality and Transmigration Patronage of 95.1% and 4.9% is explained
by other factors not mentioned in this model.
