ABSTRAK

Inti dari permasalahan penelitian ini adalah mengenai persepsi siswa tentang
pustakawan. Bertujuan untuk mengetahui Persepsi Siswa yang dilihat dari Sikap,
Motif, Perhatian, Pengalaman, dan Pengharapan dari seorang pustakawan di SMA
Negeri 60 Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, sedangkan
teknik pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran angket, wawancara, observasi, dan
studi pustaka. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X dan XI SMA Negeri 60
Jakarta berjumlah 516 orang. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan menggunakan rumus
Taro Yamane, maka diperoleh jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 84 orang.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa tentang pustakawan di
Perpustakaan SMA Negeri 60 Jakarta terkategori baik.

ABSTRACT

The core of problems this research is into perception of students about librarian.

Aims for too know perception students who seen from attitude, motive, attention,
experience, and expectation of a librarian in public SMA Negeri 60 Jakarta. The
method used are descriptive, whereas the method of data collection techniques
through deployment, interview, observation, questionnaire, and library studies.
Population this research is graders X and XI state SMA Negeri 60 Jakarta totaled
516 people. Based on the results of the calculation using the formula Taro Yamane,
then obtained the number of samples in this study as much as 84 people. The result
showed that the perception students about librarian in the library SMA Negeri 60
Jakarta good category.
