ACADEMIC YEAR. Research Paper. Muhammadiyah University Of
Surakarta.
This study is aimed at making the students more easily remember words.
The objective of this research is to describe what are the procedures, the result, the
advantages and disadvantages of teaching vocabulary using drink package.
This research method is divided into 7 parts: 1) Type of this research is
observation. In observation the writer taught vocabulary using drink package as
media. 2) Place and time of this study is conducted at IV grade of SDN 1 Krebet
Masaran Sragen. 3) Subject of this study is the students of IV grade of SDN 1
Krebet Masaran, Sragen. 4) Object of this study is teaching vocabulary using

drink package. 5) The data are in the form of information related to teaching
learning process, teaching method used by the teacher, and all forms the
document. Data source are event, informant, and document. 6) Methods of
collecting data are observation, interview, and documentation. 7) Technique for
analyzing data is descriptive qualitative research.
The results of this study are first the process of teaching vocabulary using
drink package at elementary school of SDN 1 Krebet Masaran Sragen are
opening, main activity, and closing. Second the result of teaching vocabulary
using drink package has better result. It is taken from the different score of posttest and pre-test (8, 32-7, 60 = 0, 72).
