ANALISIS PENINGKATAN PRODUKTIVITAS LANTAI PRODUKSI MENGGUNAKAN METODE OBJECTIVE MATRIX DAN FAULT TREE ANALYSIS (Studi Di Pt World Yamatex Spinning Mills Bandung)
ABSTRAK
PT World Yamatex Spinning Mills (WYSM) Bandung merupakan salah satu
pabrik bergerak dalam bidang pemintalan benang di Indonesia. Produktivitas
berperan penting dalam kelangsungan hidup sebuah perusahaan, PT WYSM
berupaya meningkatkan produktivitas agar seluruh sumber daya dapat
dimanfaatkan secara optimal karena pada saat ini perusahaan sedang mengalami
permasalahan dalam produktivitas lantai produksi. Peningkatan produktivitas
memerlukan adanya strategi yang berkelanjutan, dimana upaya awal adalah
mengukur, mengecek, mengevaluasi hasil pengukuran berada pada level
terkendali atau tidak.
Pembahasan penelitian ini adalah analisis peningkatan produktivitas di lantai
produksi PT WYSM menggunakan metode Objective Matrix (OMAX). Proses
produksi didukung oleh sumber daya yang kompleks dan saling berhubungan satu
sama lainnya, penurunan dan peningkatan performa masing-masing sumber daya
menjadi hal yang patut diperhatikan. Indikator perhitungan melingkupi beberapa
data yakni produksi, tenaga kerja, jam kerja, mesin, dan pemakaian daya listrik.
Data tersebut diolah menjadi beberapa rasio pengukuran yang akan digunakan
dalam mengukur seberapa jauh penurunan atau peningkatan produktivitas,
sehingga usulan strategi peningkatan dapat optimal.
Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan mengenai analisis produktivitas lantai produksi
PT WYSM pada periode bulan Maret 2015 sampai dengan bulan Maret 2016
menunjukkan adanya penurunan performa yang diindikasikan oleh beberapa rasio
bernilai rendah. Pengelompokan katagori penilaian nilai rasio menggunakan
metode Traffic Light System, dimana hasil rasio terendah dalam penggunaan
metode ini diberi warna merah atau berada pada level 0 sampai dengan level 2.
Rasio rendah tersebut yaitu rasio I, II, III, IV dan V. Pendalaman analisis
penurunan produktivitas dilakukan dengan metode Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
untuk merumuskan basic event atau akar masalah. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah
kebersihan luar mesin kurang diperhatikan, sehingga cepat atau lambat akan
menghambat kinerja mesin.
Peningkatan produktivitas yang dapat dilakukan PT WYSM salah satunya adalah
menghimbau operator untuk melakukan upaya kebersihan pada waktu senggang
kerja. Pemanfaatan metode OMAX dan FTA ini dilakukan sebagai analisis
peningkatan produktivitas bagi PT WYSM dalam memperbaiki produktivitas
sumber daya terkait secara berkelanjutan. Sehingga manajemen pabrik dapat
mempertimbangkan prioritas sumber daya mana yang harus didahulukan, agar
efisiensi dan efektivitas proses produksi dapat optimal.

ABSTRACT
PT World Yamatex Spinning Mills (WYSM) Bandung is one of the factories engaged in
spinning yarn in Indonesia. Productivity plays an important role in the survival of a
company, PT WYSM seeks to increase productivity so that all resources can be used
optimally because the company is currently experiencing problems in the productivity of
the production floor. Increased productivity requires the existence of a sustainable
strategy, where the initial effort is measuring, checking, evaluating measurement results at
the level of control or not.
Discussion of this research is the analysis of the increase in productivity on the production
floor PT WYSM using Objective Matrix (OMAX). The production process is supported by
the resources of complex and interconnected to each other, decrease and increase the
performance of each resource becomes noteworthy. Indicators calculation encompasses
some of the data that is production, employment, hours of work, machinery, and electrical
power consumption. The data is processed into multiple ratio measurements to be used in
measuring how far a decrease or an increase in productivity, so the proposed strategy can
increase optimal.
The results of research conducted on the shop floor productivity analysis PT WYSM in the
period March 2015 to the month of March 2016 showed a decrease in performance as
indicated by some low-value ratio. Grouping categories ratio value assessment method
Traffic Light System, in which the lowest ratio in the use of this method is colored red or
are at level 0 to level 2. The lower ratio is the ratio of I, II, III, IV and V. Deepening the
analysis of the decline productivity was conducted using Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) to
formulate basic event or the root of the problem. One reason is the cleanliness of the
outside of the machine less attention, so sooner or later would impede engine performance.
One of the productivity gains that can be done PT WYSM is calling on operators to make
efforts cleanliness in his spare time working. OMAX and FTA utilization method is done
as the analysis of productivity improvement for PT WYSM in improving the productivity
of related resources on an ongoing basis. So that the factory management can consider
resources priority which should take precedence, so that the efficiency and effectiveness of
the production process can be optimized.
