An Analysis Of Intrinsic Elements In A. Fuadi’s Novel The Land Of Five Towers
ABSTRAK
Literature is a fictional essay in written form, in the article described the problems
experienced by humans. The novel is one of literary works that have an intrinsic
elements ( depths elements ). To study the intrinsic elements in a novel as a
learning experience, one of a group of people through the novel. The author
analyzes the intrinsic elements in the novel tittled The Land of Five Towers (
Negeri 5 Menara ) by Ahmad Fuadi. This final project entitled: AN ANALYSIS
OF ELEMENTS IN A. FUADI'S NOVEL THE LAND OF FIVE TOWERS.
Authors are interested in analyzing this novel as an intrinsic elements in this novel
coherent and mutually supporting each other. The author uses the technique of
intrinsic analytical methods in this novel especially: theme, plot, character, time,
place, and viewpoints. This paper is useful to make the reader understand the
intrinsic element in the novel and as a reference on the intrinsic elements. In this
novel concluded that the conclusions of the analysis in this finally task is to find
an intrinsic element in the novel The Land of five Towers as follow: the theme is
about a boy who succeeded as to the wishes of his parents. The story takes place
in Indonesia, Washington DC, and London. Setting of time was in the twentieth
century. The plot of this novel is the back and forth, and the author as the first
point. The author’ style were inspiring and interesting. The novel is strongly
related to daily life so that we can learn a lot from this novel.

ABSTRACT
Sastra adalah sebuah karangan fiksi dalam bentuk tulisan, dalam tulisan itu
digambarkan masalah yang dialami oleh manusia. Novel adalah salah satu karya
sastra yang memiliki unsur intrinsik (unsur dalaman). Untuk mempelajari unsur
intrinsik dalam sebuah novel sama dengan mempelajari pengalaman seseorang
dari sekelompok manusia melalui novel. Penulis menganalisis unsur intrinsik
dalam novel berjudul The Land of Five Towers (Negeri 5 Menara) oleh Ahmad
Fuadi. Tugas Akhir ini berjudul : AN ANALYSIS OF INTRINSIC ELEMENTS IN
A. FUADI’S NOVEL THE LAND OF FIVE TOWERS. Penulis tertarik untuk
menganalisis novel ini karena unsur intrinsic dalam novel ini padu dan saling
mendukung satu dengan lain. Penulis menggunakan teknik metode analisis
intrinsik dalam tugas akhir ini khususnya tema, plot, karakter, waktu, tempat, dan
sudut pandang. Paper ini bermanfaat membuat para pembaca mengerti tentang
unsur intrinsik dalam novel dan sebagai bahan acuan tentang unsur intrinsik.
Dalam novel ini disimpulkan bahwa Kesimpulan dari analis dalam tugas akhir ini
adalah menemukan unsur intrinsik dalam novel The Land of five Towers sebagai
berikut : temanya adalah tentang seorang anak yang berhasil karena menuruti
keinginan kedua orang tuanya. Ceritanya berlangsung di Indonesia, Washington
DC, dan London. Pengaturan waktu dalam abad ke dua puluh. Plot dari novel ini
adalah maju mundur, dan penulis sebagai titik pertama. Gaya penulis inspiratif
dan menarik. Novel ini sangat berhubungan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari
sehingga kita dapat belajar banyak dari novel ini.
