ABSTRAK
Fajar Heliyanto, 2015. Pengantar Tugas Akhir ini berjudul “Perancangan
Promosi Pondok Asri Tawangmangu Melalui Desain Komunikasi Visual”.
Adapun permasalahan yang dikaji adalah (1) Bagaimana merancang promosi yang
efektif untuk mempromosikan Pondok Asri Tawangmangu? (2) Bagaimana
pemilihan dan perancangan media serta placement untuk mempromosikan Pondok

Asri Tawangmangu? Tujuan promosi ini adalah untuk meningkatkan jumlah
konsumen yang akhirnya pendapatan yang diperoleh semakin meningkat dengan
cara memaksimalkan kelebihan serta mengedepankan daya tarik keunggulan
produk (positioning) yang dimiliki oleh Pondok Asri Tawangmangu dan supaya
audience lebih memilih Pondok Asri Tawangmangu daripada hotel yang lainnya.

ABSTRACT
Fajar Heliyanto, 2015. This abstract is entitled “Promotion Strategy
Pondok Asri Tawangmangu Through Visual Communication Design”. This
research was done to solve the problems, that are (1) How to create an effective
promotion plan to promote Pondok Asri Tawangmangu? (2) How to choose and
design the advertising media as well as its placememnt? The goals of the kind of
promotion I proposed are to get bigger income for the hotel itself and to maximize
its valuable products so that the audience of this advertising will tend to choose
Pondok Asri Tawangmangu as a place to stay than any other hotel.
