Seraya memanjatkan puji syukur kehadlirat Allah SWT, saya menyambut gembira
atas terbitnya buku Kebumen Dalam Angka 2011 dan berterima kasih kepada semua
pihak yang telah berpartisipasi dalam penyusunan buku ini.
Dalam rangka pengembangan kehidupan masyarakat dan potensi wilayah, data
statistik memiliki fungsi dan peranan penting. Dengan memanfaatkan data statistik, maka
kebijakan maupun kegiatan pembangunan yang diambil pemerintah akan lebih tepat
sasaran dan lebih tepat guna, sehingga akan mempercepat laju pemberdayaan
masyarakat dan daerah. Disisi lain juga akan sangat membantu masyarakat dalam
membuat langkah-langkah dan keputusan yang tepat dalam menyikapi setiap
perkembangan lingkungan, termasuk dalam menyikapi era globalisasi.
Buku ini memuat data dan informasi yang cukup lengkap, terutama terkait dengan
data potensi sumber daya (alam dan manusia) serta hasil-hasil penyelenggaraan
pemerintahan, pelaksanaan pembangunan dan pelayanan publik di Kabupaten Kebumen.
Akhirnya kepada penerbit, saya harapkan agar terus mengembangkan data dan
informasi yang disajikan, sehingga akan meningkatkan daya guna buku ini.

As gratitude kehadlirat praise Allah SWT, I warmly welcome the publication of
Kebumen in Figures 2011 and thanks to all those who have participated in the preparation
of this book.
In order to develop people's lives and potential of the region, statistical data has an
important role and functions. By using statistical data, the policy and development
activities taken by the government will better targeted and more efficient, so it will
accelerate the pace of community empowerment and local. On the other hand will also
help the community in making the steps and decisions in dealing with every development
environment, including in addressing the globalization era.
This book contains data and comprehensive information, particularly related to data
resource potential (natural and man) as well as the results of governance, development
and implementation of public service in Kebumen.
Finally the publisher, I expect to continue to develop data and information
presented, so that will improve the usability of this book.

Pengantar
KATA PENGANTAR
Dengan mengucap syukur kehadlirat Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, selesai sudah
penyusunan Buku KEBUMEN DALAM ANGKA 2011 yang merupakan kelanjutan dari
publikasi yang sama tahun sebelumnya.
Sebagaimana halnya dengan publikasi tahun yang lalu, data statistik yang tersaji
dalam bentuk tabel-tabel pada buku ini merupakan data primer yang merupakan hasil
pengumpulan data yang dilakukan oleh Badan Pusat Statistik dan data sekunder yang
berasal dari berbagai sumber, baik instansi pemerintah maupun non pemerintah. Mulai
tahun ini, buku disajikan dalam dua bahasa yaitu Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris.
Buku ini memuat berbagai macam data seperti: geografi, pemerintahan, penduduk
dan tenaga kerja, sosial ekonomi, dan lain-lain. Sebagian besar data dirinci sampai ke
tingkat wilayah kecamatan serta cakupannya juga semakin diperluas pada berbagai
sektor pembangunan sejalan dengan semakin meningkatnya kebutuhan akan data,
khususnya untuk kepentingan perencanaan pembangunan di daerah.
Pada kesempatan ini kami menyampaikan terima kasih yang sebesar-besarnya,
pertama kepada Bapak Bupati Kebumen atas segala dukungan dan bimbingan yang
diberikan hingga buku ini bisa terwujud. Kedua, terima kasih kami sampaikan kepada
semua pihak, baik itu instansi pemerintah maupun non pemerintah yang telah membantu

FOREWORD
Thanks to the Almighty God, Kebumen in Figures 2011 have been composed. That
annual publication of Statistic data as a follow up from the last year.
As previous Publication, this publication provides primary data from Central Board
Statistic and secondary data came from both government institution and private one.
Starting this year, the book is presented in two languages, Bahasa Indonesia and English.
This publication provides information on geography, government, population and
man power, social economic, etc. Some data give by district in details and is improved
specially for development planning needs.
I would like to express my sincere thanks to His Excellency The Regent of
Kebumen for providing the guidance, also to all the public and private institutions, that
gave data support and information for this publication.
Suggestion and criticism to improve this publication are always welcome, and
hopeful this book brings advantages for the government in conducting and giving service

Seraya memanjatkan puji syukur kehadlirat Allah SWT, saya menyambut gembira
atas terbitnya buku Kebumen Dalam Angka 2011 dan berterima kasih kepada semua
pihak yang telah berpartisipasi dalam penyusunan buku ini.
Dalam rangka pengembangan kehidupan masyarakat dan potensi wilayah, data
statistik memiliki fungsi dan peranan penting. Dengan memanfaatkan data statistik, maka
kebijakan maupun kegiatan pembangunan yang diambil pemerintah akan lebih tepat
sasaran dan lebih tepat guna, sehingga akan mempercepat laju pemberdayaan
masyarakat dan daerah. Disisi lain juga akan sangat membantu masyarakat dalam
membuat langkah-langkah dan keputusan yang tepat dalam menyikapi setiap

In order to develop people's lives and potential of the region, statistical data has an
important role and functions. By using statistical data, the policy and development
activities taken by the government will better targeted and more efficient, so it will
accelerate the pace of community empowerment and local. On the other hand will also
help the community in making the steps and decisions in dealing with every development
environment, including in addressing the globalization era.
This book contains data and comprehensive information, particularly related to data
resource potential (natural and man) as well as the results of governance, development
and implementation of public service in Kebumen.

KATA PENGANTAR
Dengan mengucap syukur kehadlirat Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, selesai sudah
penyusunan Buku KEBUMEN DALAM ANGKA 2011 yang merupakan kelanjutan dari
publikasi yang sama tahun sebelumnya.
Sebagaimana halnya dengan publikasi tahun yang lalu, data statistik yang tersaji
dalam bentuk tabel-tabel pada buku ini merupakan data primer yang merupakan hasil
pengumpulan data yang dilakukan oleh Badan Pusat Statistik dan data sekunder yang
berasal dari berbagai sumber, baik instansi pemerintah maupun non pemerintah. Mulai
tahun ini, buku disajikan dalam dua bahasa yaitu Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris.
Buku ini memuat berbagai macam data seperti: geografi, pemerintahan, penduduk
dan tenaga kerja, sosial ekonomi, dan lain-lain. Sebagian besar data dirinci sampai ke
tingkat wilayah kecamatan serta cakupannya juga semakin diperluas pada berbagai
sektor pembangunan sejalan dengan semakin meningkatnya kebutuhan akan data,
khususnya untuk kepentingan perencanaan pembangunan di daerah.
Pada kesempatan ini kami menyampaikan terima kasih yang sebesar-besarnya,

FOREWORD
Thanks to the Almighty God, Kebumen in Figures 2011 have been composed. That
annual publication of Statistic data as a follow up from the last year.
As previous Publication, this publication provides primary data from Central Board
Statistic and secondary data came from both government institution and private one.
Starting this year, the book is presented in two languages, Bahasa Indonesia and English.
This publication provides information on geography, government, population and
man power, social economic, etc. Some data give by district in details and is improved
specially for development planning needs.
I would like to express my sincere thanks to His Excellency The Regent of
Kebumen for providing the guidance, also to all the public and private institutions, that
