Dr. Mukti began his career as Head of Policy Financing and Insurance Management

Health, Graduate Program (S2) IKM, Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, and

from 2008 to 2011, he served as Dean of School of Medicine UGM. In 2011 Mr.

Mukti was appointed as Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia.

Mr. Mukti completed his Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Gajah Mada

in 1986, completed his Graduate Program from Mahidol University, Bangkok,

Thailand in 1991 and completed his Doctoral Program from the University of

Newcastle, Australia in 2000. He is well known for his involvement, mainly in

health insurance, and has expertise in the field of health service quality, family

medicine, and epidemiology.
