I may not be able to fully relate to all of the poetry, but i can relate to the passion that Hickson writes with. I believe his work is the first I have read in which a man has so passionately professed his sexuality, unafraid of what the cold world might have as a response. Even though I have not had to go through the struggle of being gay and accepted, but I feel that I can still connect with how he felt when trying to find love, or something like it... 1 of 4 people found the following review helpful.
