Of course, I am somewhat biased in my opinion of this memoir since Michael Bliss’ memories are similar to many of mine! I also grew up in Kingsville, Ontario in the 1950’s and 60’s and knew Michael as an older student at my school. His descriptions of the people, town and environs are so like my memories, I was enthralled reading about them. I have also read Michael Bliss’ books on The Discovery of Insulin and Banting, both informative and very readable. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. excellent!
