Introduction
Lunate dislocations are often accompanied by scaphoid fractures due to the stresses from the
high-energy impact to the wrist. The treatment in such cases is accurate reduction, ligament
reconstruction, and stable fixation till the construct is healed. The objective of this case report is
to evaluate Fuctional Outcome of Fresh vs Neglected Trans Scapoid fracture with Perilunate
Dislocation following ORIF Screwing based on DASH (Dissability of Arm, Shoulder and Hand)
Score.
Methods
We have evaluated two of patients. First patients was a Male 30 years old with Closed fracture
right Trans Scapoid fracture with Lunate Dislocation, a fresh case. Second patient was Male 39
years old with Closed fracture Right Trans Scapoid fracture with Perilunate Dislocation,
neglected four weeks. The both of patients were evaluated after 3 month after surgery with
DASH Score.
Results
After three months following surgery, we got 35.0 points for fresh case and 38.8 points of
neglected case based on DASH Score, in which a better result has a lesser point on DASH
Scoring. The complication before and after operation didn’t occur in this patient.
Discussion
Fresh case have a better score than four weeks neglected case according on DASH Score.
