Ketidakmampuan akuntansi merupakan salah satu faktor utama yang
menimbulkan permasalahan dan mengakibatkan kagagalan perusahaan kecil
dan menengah dalam mengembangkan usaha. Penelitian ini melakukan pengaruh
skala usaha, umur perusahaan, pendidikan pemilik terhadap penggunaan informasi
akuntansi perusahaan kecil dan menengah.
Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 61 perusahaan (BPS, 2006) dengan data
yang dapat diolah adalah sebesar 55 responden yang terdiri dari 29 dikategorikan
perusahaan kecil dan 26 dikategorikan sebagai perusahaan menengah. Teknik
pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan
data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan
analisis regresi logistic.
Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa dari empat hipotesis yang
diajukan hanya ada satu hipotesis yang ditolak. Hipotesis yang diterima yaitu
hipotesis 1 (Terdapat pengaruh antara skala usaha, umur perusahaan, dan
pendidikan manajer/ pemilik secara bersama-sama terhadap penggunaan informasi
akuntansi Usaha Kecil dan Menengah di Kabupaten Blora), hipotesis 3 (Terdapat
pengaruh antara umur perusahaan terhadap penggunaan informasi akuntansi
Usaha Kecil dan Menengah di Kabupaten Blora), hipotesis 4 (Terdapat pengaruh
antara pendidikan manajer/ pemilik usaha terhadap penggunaan informasi
akuntansi Usaha Kecil dan Menengah di Kabupaten Blora). Ada satu hipotesis
yang ditolak atau tidak ada pengaruh, hipotesis tersebut adalah hipotesis 2 ( Tidak
terdapat pengaruh antara skala usaha terhadap penggunaan informasi akuntansi
usaha kecil dan menengah di Kabupaten Blora ).
Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala usaha, umur perusahaan, dan
pendidikan manajer/ pemilik secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap
penggunaan informasi akuntansi pada usaha kecil dan menengah. Seluruh variabel
independen tersebut secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap
penggunaan informasi akuntansi pada UKM.

The inability of accounting is one of the main factors that cause problems and
lead to failure of small and medium enterprises in developing business. This
research doing about the influence of business scale, firm age, and owner
education on the use of accounting information small and medium enterprises.
Sample of this research are 61 firms (BPS, 2006) with data can be proccesed
is of 55 respondents, including 29 classified as small companies and 26 are
categorized as midsize companies. Sampling technique using a simple random
sampling. Technique of data collection using qustionnaires. Data analysis in this
study using logistic regression analysis.
Results of hypothesis testing showed that four hypothesis proposed that there
is only one hypothesis is rejected. Accepted hypothesis of hypothesis 1 ( there are
the influence of scale business, company age, and education managers / owners
the use of accounting information of small and medium enterprises in Blora
regency), hypothesis 3 ( there are between the ages corporate influence on the use
of accounting information small and medium enterprises in Blora regency),
hypothesis 4 ( there are influence of education manager / owners the use of
accounting information small and medium enterprises in Blora regency). There is
one hyphotesis that is rejected or no effect, the hypothesis is the hypothesis 2
(there is no influence between the business scale of the use of accounting
information small and medium enterprises in Blora regency ).
The conclusion of this research is to scale the business, firm age and
education sector managers/ owners partially significant effect on the use of
accounting information on small and medium enterprises. All independent
variables are jointly significant affect on the use of accounting information on
SME’s.
