Gambaran Kadar Fluor Air Sumur Dengan Fluorosis Gigi Pada Anak di Dusun 1 Sitiris-Tiris Desa Sitiris-Tiris Kecamatan Andam Dewi Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah Tahun 2015
ABSTRAK
Fluorosis gigi merupakan suatu kelainan struktur email akibat intake fluor
dalam jumlah yang tinggi pada masa pembentukan gigi anak yang di tandai
bercak kuning hingga kecoklatan yang menyebar pada permukaan gigi yang dapat
mengurangi penampilan pada gigi. Fluorosis gigi berasal dari berbagai sumber
sehari-hari baik secara sistemik maupun topikal yang dikonsumsi melebihi kadar
fluor optimum. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kadar fluor air
sumur dengan fluorosis gigi pada anak di Dusun 1 Desa Sitiris-Tiris Kecamatan
Andam Dewi, Tapanuli Tengah.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah survai bersifat deskriptif dengan desain cross
sectional. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai dengan Juni 2016.
Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala keluarga yang menggunakan sumur
gali dan mempunyai anak sebanyak 96 kepala keluarga. Teknik pengambilan
sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Analisa data dilakukan dengan
mendistribusikan data penelitian yang diperoleh kedalam tabel distribusi
frekuensi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kadar fluor air sumur termasuk
kategori sangat rendah dengan rata-rata kadar fluor sebesar 0,19 mg/l, responden
yang menggunakan air sumur untuk dikonsumsi sebanyak 37 orang (38,5%),
anak yang mengalami fluorosis gigi sebanyak 36 orang (40,6%) serta anak yang
mengalami fluorosis gigi berdasarkan konsumsi air sumur sebanyak 9 orang
(23,1%).
Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah kadar fluor air sumur yang dikonsumsi
bukan penyebab utama fluorosis gigi pada anak. Diharapkan kepada masyarakat
Dusun 1 Desa Sitiris-Tiris Kecamatan Andam Dewi, Tapanuli Tengah agar dapat
membatasi intake fluor harian pada anak dari sumber lainnya agar dapat
mengurangi terjadinya fluorosis gigi di masa pembentukan gigi.

ABSTRACT
The teeth fluorosis is structural disorder of enamel caused by fluor intake
in higher content during the tooth formation in the child indicated by the yellow
spots up to the brownish that distributed on the surface of teeth that decrease the
appearance of the teeth. The teeth fluorosis is derived from many sources by the
fluor intake of any daily resources either systematically or topically so the number
of consumed intake fluor is over that the optimum fluor content. The objective of
this research is to study the fluor content of the drilled well and the teeth fluorosis
to the child in sub rural village 1 of Sitiris-Tiris sub district of Andam Dewi,
Tapanuli Tengah.
This research is a descriptive survey with cross sectional study. This
research was conducted sub rural village 1 of Sitiris-Tiris sub district of Andam
Dewi, Tapanuli Tengah on March up to June 2016. The sample in this research is
the head of household who have the drilled well and have child for 96 household
heads. The sampling method is simple random sampling. The data was analyzed
by distribution of collected research data into frequency distribution table.
The results of research indicates that the fluor content of drilled well is in
lower category with the average of fluor content is 0,19 mg/l, respondent use the
drilled well for consumption for 37 persons (38.5%), the child with teeth fluorosis
is 36 persons (40.6%) and the child with the teeth fluorosis based on the drilled
well water consumption is 9 persons (23.1%).
The conclusion of research is that the fluor content of the drilled well what
consumption is not causal factor of the teeth fluorosis to the chid. It hope that the
community in sub rural village 1 Sitiris-Tiris sub-district of Andam Dewi,
Tapanuli Tengah must limite in intake fluor to the child in order to minimize the
teeth fluorosis in the teeth formation period.
