Generation That Brings Alteration
Assalamu’alaikum wr.wb
With all due the respect to the honorable Mr. Principal, to the honorable Mr. Homeroom
Teacher of my class, to honorable Mr. and Mrs. Teachers as well as to the dearest friends.
First of all, let’s say our praise and gratitude only to Allah Swt due to His grace and
blessings upon us so that on this good time and occasion we all can still gather in this place
in the best of our health.
Ladies, gentlemen, and friends that I love,
Youth is a figure that always brings alterations. Alteration in life order of some era is quite
influenced by the role of youths. In 1982, youths gathered altogether and then took the
pledge in order to tighten the unity of Indonesia. This pledge was known as Youth Pledge.
All youths from all over Indonesia from various ethnics, cultures, languages, and regions
strove for retaking the independence of nation altogether.
Who doesn’t know Mr. Soekarno, our first president of Indonesia? Nobody doubted him in
each of his speech to encourage the youths in maintaining the independence of Indonesia.
The long journey of Indonesia to the national independence shows us how great the
influence was regarding our nation’s life. And then as the youth Muslim generation, what
have we contributed to society, nation, religion, and especially our own selves? Have we
given any alteration?
A Muslim youth should go on with positive alterations day after day in his or her life. How a
loss if a Muslim youth is seen to be worse than yesterday. The success of a youth in dealing
with a number of life handicaps along with the good alterations will be the basic in how he or
she brings alterations to his or her surroundings and those that are bigger than that.
To all of my companions that I proud of,
Dr. Yusuf Qardhawi said that there are three things that underlie a youth as a foundation of
alteration;
1. Youths come with brilliant brain
2. Youths have strong physicals
3. Youths behave objectively
From the three points above, we can come to the conclusion that to bring the balance of
physical alterations, youths also need to take into consider of three things that underlie
spiritual alterations:
1. Youths need to have strong faith
2. Youth need to be always istiqamah in performing any religious services and duties
3. Youths have good manners or akhlak khasanah
Ladies, gentlemen, and all the companions blessed by Allah
It’s about the time for Muslim youths to rise up for creating alterations in every line of life
and keeping as well as maintaining the self-image of Islam. Moreover, Islam has been being
besieged from all over the directions. We need to increase our knowledge about Islam by
reading various books. Not only Islamic books but also those books whose contents
sometimes offense the world of Islam. Thus, youth generations can have the provisions to
become the agents of alteration.
Make our youth as the time that’s full of benefits and all the good things before the coming
of old age, when all of our spirits would fade away. What are we waiting for, if we can do the
alteration now? Use our youth times to become the part of Islam’s awakening history in
Indonesia.
That’s all I could say. I wish we can meet again someday. Please forgive me for the

Assalamualaikum Wr. Wb.
Honorable ones, our beloved English teacher; Mr. Sekoy and my beloved friends. In
this golden opportunity, allow me to stand here in front of you all to deliver a brief
speech about corruption.
My dear friends
Corruption is a well known word that everyone in this country knows exactly what
it means and how cruel it is. Corruption is an action of stealing people money and
their right of justice. It is stink and inhuman action. An action that brings our
country to the depths of poverty.
Corruption has become the biggest problem in our country, Indonesia, that needs
immediate actions. Our country is weaken by it. It's like a virus which infects all
sectors in the government; justice and civil service sectors.
Public may never forget of the recent corruption scandal that snares the leader of
Constitutional Court or Mahkamah Konstitusi, Akil Mochtar. That scandal is like
snaps us that even in legal constitution, corruption can still thrive. Not only that,
other institution such as police and ministry institution which ought to protect and
serve us were involved to corruption cases.
Poverty and social discrepancy are those of the effect of corruption. Money that
should be given to erase poverty are corrupted for self advantages of certain
persons. Justice that should be risen up are corrupted for self righteous of certain
persons.
My friends
Even tough there is KPK which bravely wipe out the corruption in this country, we
as smart generation shall prevent corruption happen in our future. Being honest is
the key. Do and speak with honest will help us to maintain our country from the
danger of corruption. Corruption must die!!!

prayer for our parents as well as the father's mother and teachers who educate,

Every human being must have had parents. No one man who was born without parents.
We also realize that our parents have struggled, both day and night, squeeze mind,
hardest to fight so that all children can live well. In this short time, allow me to convey
how very important filial to parents. Devoted to both parents is one of the very noble
deeds even Allah has mentioned in the Quran about the virtues of filial to parents. In the
word of God, we are ordered to devote to two parents and juxtaposed with the most
important practice in Islam. This indicates that the charity is a very major one in the
sight of Allah SWT. The magnitude of the dignity of both parents is seen through the
eyes of the law. As their soon, we have to obey the instruction of our parent. And be
sure that because of our kindness to our parents, we will get a good result for the next.
All of my friends whom I love
Creating a sad in terms of both parents then it already counted as one act of
disobedience. Their cries are as well as heart rending by the behavior of the child. Now
we are together already know the importance and virtue of filial to parents. We
remember how often we make them angry and crying parents. How often we do not
carry out any orders? Indeed there is no obedience to the creature its name in terms of
adulterous to God, but how we to deny are that too should be a good way not
haphazard. For that we have to apologize to both of them, we need to remember again
that Allah's approval of parents is also the pleasure of Allah is Allah's approval of
parents, both parents wrath of Allah SWT.
As human being, I realize that I can’t avoid the mistakes, so I apologize to you all. And I
don’t forget to say thanks so much for your nice attention.

Good afternoon,
I would like to express gratitude to God for giving the opportunity to attend this
event. I also would like to thank to the audience who served the time and the
place for me in this pulpit.
Ladies and gentlemen,
Indonesia is a huge country and absolutely rich. We have millions of different
natural resources from the sea, forest, mining, and many more. Indonesia is
predicted to be one of the developed countries which are able to take over the
world. In fact, European countries often made the calculation that if the
Indonesian people unite and work together to develop this country, Indonesia
will become a superpower country like America or Russia.
However, why has Indonesia not been able to be a developed country until now?
Perhaps, our country does not have the good human resources. However, I feel
there is one thing that becomes the core of all the problems. All the problems
that we have are absolutely come from corruption.
Of course, corruption makes our country become unstable and does not have a
solid system. The state’s finances are destroyed, the development is going to be
stunted, and ultimately, the people of Indonesia do not get their rights.
Indonesian people are very miserable; our country is not going to be well
because the uneven development, bad channeled educational subsidy, and the
stunted development of public facilities.
Several of us may not feel the impact of corruption directly, but our friends who
live in the isolated areas feel it so much. They cannot cross the river because
there is no bridge; they cannot be an educated people, and they cannot connect
to the world because they do not have internet access. In fact, they have the
same opportunity to the people in the big city but they haven’t.
Then, how to tackle corruption in this nation? How to wipe out the corruption?
Ladies and gentlemen,
To wipe the corruption out, we need much more patience and work harder. We
must tell ourselves to not take something that does not belong to us. Corruption
is begun by stealing something small, and evolves into a theft to the large sums
of money. Train us to be afraid to take something that does not belong to us, and
continue to be grateful for the sustenance that has been given by God.
In addition to teach yourself to keep working hard and do not take anything that
is not your right, we also have to educate our children to have an independent
attitude, honest, and forbid them to take other people’s stuff without
permission.
Ladies and gentlemen, although corruption is a difficult problem to overcome,
but I believe we can solve it. Indonesia requires us to unite, promote, and
liberate the country from corruption.
