ABSTRACT
KARTIKA WINDYANINGRUM. Factors Related to Hemoglobin Level of School
Age Children in Palasari 02 Elementary School, Cijeruk Sub District, Bogor

Various nutritional problems are suffered by some communities in
Indonesia, one of which is anemia. This research was conducted to analyze the
factors related to the hemoglobin level of school age children in Palasari 02
elementary school, Cijeruk sub district, Bogor District. Cross sectional study was
used in this research. The selection of sample was conducted purposively. Total
samples were 82 children. Data collection was processed by Microsoft Excel

2007 and analyzed using Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) 17.0 for
Windows. The results of this research showed that 96.3% of total sample
suffered anemia. Meanwhile the results of bivariate analysis showed that
mothers’ education and nutritional knowledge of sample had negative
relationship with the hemoglobin level of sample (p
