ABSTRAK

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk memperoleh gambaran apakah terdapat
hubungan antara ketersediaan fasilitas perpustakaan dengan minat kunjung siswa
ke perpustakaan pada Perpustakaan SMP Negeri 15 Bandung; untuk memperoleh
gambaran apakah terdapat hubungan antara ketersediaan gedung/ruangan
perpustakaan dengan minat kunjung siswa ke perpustakaan pada Perpustakaan
SMP Negeri 15 Bandung; untuk memperoleh gambaran apakah terdapat
hubungan antara ketersediaan perlengkapan perpustakaan dengan minat kunjung
siswa ke perpustakaan pada Perpustakaan SMP Negeri 15 Bandung; serta untuk
memperoleh gambaran apakah terdapat hubungan antara ketersediaan peralatan
perpustakaan dengan minat kunjung siswa ke perpustakaan pada Perpustakaan
SMP Negeri 15 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif
pendekatan kuantitatif dengan studi korelasional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan
dengan menggunakan angket. Pengolahan data dengan menggunakan korelasi dari
Pearson Product Moment. Teknik penarikan sampel yang digunakan adalah
simple random sampling dengan sampel berjumlah 135 siswa. Hasil penelitian
menunjukan bahwa: terdapat hubungan kuat antara ketersediaan fasilitas
perpustakaan dengan minat kunjung siswa ke perpustakaan dengan koefisien
korelasi sebesar 0.671; terdapat hubungan sedang antara gedung/ruangan
perpustakaan dengan minat kunjung siswa ke perpustakaan dengan koefisien
korelasi sebesar 0.498; terdapat hubungan sedang antara perlengkapan
perpustakaan dengan minat kunjung siswa ke perpustakaan pada Perpustakaan
SMP Negeri 15 yang dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.437; serta terdapat
hubungan sedang antara peralatan perpustakaan dengan minat kunjung siswa ke
perpustakaan pada Perpustakaan SMP Negeri 15 Bandung dengan koefisien
korelasi sebesar 0.431. Saran pada penelitian ini adalah setiap perpustakaan harus
memperhatikan fasilitas perpustakaan karena fasilitas merupakan salah satu faktor
yang menimbulkan minat kunjung siswa ke perpustakaan.

The purpose of this study is to obtain a picture of whether there is a relationship
between the availability of a library facility with the interests of students go to the
library at the Library SMP Negeri 15 Bandung; to obtain a picture of whether
there is a relationship between the availability of the building/room library with
interest the students go to the library at the Library SMP Negeri 15 Bandung; to
obtain a picture of whether there is a relationship between the availability of
supplies libraries to the interests of students go to the library at the Library SMP
Negeri 15 Bandung; and to obtain a picture of whether there is a relationship
between the availability of library equipment to the interests of students go to the
library at the Library SMP Negeri 15 Bandung. This study used descriptive
methods quantitative approach with correlational studies. The data was collected
using a questionnaire with Likert scale attitude, processing the data by using the
product moment correlation of Pearson. The sample totaled 135 students. The
sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The results showed that:
there is a strong relationship between the availability of a library facility with the
interests of students go to the library at the Llibrary SMP Negeri 15 Bandung with
a correlation coefficient of 0.671; there is a relationship between the
building/room library with interest the students go to the library at the Llibrary
SMP Negeri 15 Bandung with a correlation coefficient of 0.498; there is a
relationship between the fixture library with interest the students go to the Library
at the Llibrary SMP Negeri 15 Bandung with a correlation coefficient of 0.437;
and there is a relationship between the equipment library with interest the students
go to the library at the Library SMP Negeri 15 Bandung with a correlation
coefficient of 0.431. Suggestions on this research is that every library should pay
attention to the library facility because the facility is one of the factors that give
rise to interest students go to the library.
