Analisa Efisiensi Water Tube Boiler Berbahan Bakar Fiber, Cangkang Sawit dan Kulit Kayu Menggunakan Metode Langsung

ABSTRAK

Beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi efisiensi boiler adalah tekanan
superheater, temperature feed water, temperature uap, jumlah uap yang
dihasilkan, jumlah konsumsi bahan bakar, dan nilai kalor pembakaran bahan
bakar. Penggunaan perangkat lunak chemicallogic steamtab companion untuk
menghitung nilai enthalpy. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan
hubungan variasi tekanan superheater dengan efisiensi boiler, hubungan variasi
temperature feed water dengan efisiensi boiler, hubungan variasi jumlah uap yang
dihasilkan dengan efisiensi boiler, menganalisa nilai kalor bahan bakar fiber 50%
+ cangkang sawit 20% + kulit kayu 30%, dan menganalisa efisiensi boiler. Dari
hasil analisa yang telah dilakukan maka hubungan variasi tekanan superheater
dengan efisiensi boiler relatif turun, semakin tinggi tekanan superheater maka
efisiensi boiler semakin rendah. Hubungan variasi temperature feed water dengan
efisiensi boiler tidak konstan naik melainkan tidak teratur atau naik turun.
Hubungan variasi jumlah uap yang dihasilkan dengan efisiensi boiler relatif naik.
Nilai kalor pembakaran tinggi (HHV) adalah 18673,5558 kJ/kg, nilai pembakaran
rendah (LHV) adalah 17166,73986 kJ/kg. Nilai efisiensi boiler tertinggi yang
dihasilkan sebesar 65,96 % dan nilai efisiensi boiler terendah yang dihasilkan
adalah sebesar 55,45 %.

ABSTRACT

Some of the factors that affect the efficiency of the boiler is a superheater
pressure, water feed temperature, steam temperature, the amount of steam
produced, the amount of fuel consumption and calorific value fuel combustion.
Steamtab chemicallogic use companion software to calculate the value of
enthalpy. The aim of this study is to get relations variations in pressure
superheater with boiler efficiency, the relationship of variation of temperature
feed water to the boiler efficiency, the relationship varying the amount of steam
produced by the boiler efficiency, analyzing the calorific value of the fuel fiber
50% + palm shells 20% + bark 30 %, and analyze the efficiency of the boiler.
From the analysis that has been done then the relationship with the variation of
pressure superheater boiler efficiency is relatively lower, the higher pressure
boiler superheater then the lower the efficiency. Temperature variations
relationship with the efficiency of the boiler feed water is not constant but
irregular or ride up and down. Relationship varying the amount of steam
produced by the boiler efficiency relative rise. Burning high calorific value (HHV)
is 18673.5558 kJ / kg, a low combustion value (LHV) is 17166.73986 kJ / kg. The

highest value boiler efficiency produced by 65.96% and the lowest value resulting
boiler efficiency is equal to 55.45%.
