Keanekaragaman Ikan dan Hubungannya Dengan Faktor Fisik-Kimia di Sungai Asahan Desa Puloraja Kabupaten Asahan Provinsi Sumatera Utara

KEANEKARAGAMAN IKAN DAN HUBUNGANNYA
DENGAN FAKTOR FISIK-KIMIA DI SUNGAI ASAHAN
DESA PULORAJA, KABUPATEN ASAHAN,
PROVINSI SUMATERA UTARA

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini telah dilakukan di Sungai Asahan, Desa Puloraja pada bulan April
2016. Penentuan titik lokasi penelitian menggunakan metode “Purposive
Sampling” dengan menentukan 4 stasiun berdasarkan aktivitas masyarakat di
sungai tersebut. Ada sepuluh spesies ikan yang ditemukan di lokasi penelitian
yang diklasifikasikan kedalam 3 ordo (Cypriniformes, Osteoglossiformes,
Perciformes) dan 5 famili (Cyprinidae, Belontidae, Channidae, Notopteridae,
Osphronemidae). Kepadatan tertinggi ditemukan pada stasiun 1 dengan nilai
0,348 ind/m2 dan terendah pada stasiun 3 dengan nilai 0,2 ind/m2. Indeks
keanekaragaman dari keempat stasiun tergolong rendah yaitu berkisar 1,37-1,76.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis korelasi pearson, nilai kecepatan arus berkorelasi
sangat kuat terhadap keanekaragaman ikan di Sungai Asahan.

FISH DIVERSITY AND ITS CORRELATION TO WATER
PHYSICO-CHEMICAL FAKTORCS IN ASAHAN RIVER,
PULORAJA VILLAGE, REGENCY OF ASAHAN,
NORTH SUMATRA

ABSTRACT

This study has been conducted at Asahan river, Puloraja Village on during April
2016. Purpossive sampling method was used to Determine four stations of the
research based on community activities at the river. The research found ten genera
of fishes, classified into three orders (Cypriniformes, Osteoglossiformes,
Perciformes) and five families (Cyprinidae, Belontidae, Channidae, Notopteridae,
Osphronemidae). The highest density was found at 1st station with the value of
0.348 ind /m2 and the lowest was found at 3rd station with the value of 0.2 ind /m2.
Diversity index from all stations were low which ranges from 1.37 to 1.76.
Pearson correlation analysis indicated that only stream velocity value are strongly
correlated with the diversity of fishes in Asahan river.
